Linux and Windows: When closed on a Linux machine on a remote file system, the .lock file on the workspace is not removed. As a result, the user is unable to open the same workspace the next time they start iTest. Workaround: Remove the .lock file under the .metadata folder.
Windows: Because of a Windows operating system bug, certain OS locks are not cleared by Windows when a process exits and the lock has been set on a remote file on a remote file system. In these cases, you must manually delete the ".lock" file in ".metadata" folder of the workspace so that iTest can be started on that workspace. Fanfare recommends tha you do not create workspaces on remote file systems.
