Before using iTest
See the iTest Installation Guide for details on the following tasks that you must perform:
- Install the IxOS software on the computer that hosts iTest
- Linux and Solaris: Specify the path to the Tcl library in the appropriate environment variable
- If you plan to use the show packet command on Solaris, you must install Tethereal. See issue 9894.
- See the iTest Installation Guide for instructions on using Ixia 5.10 SP5 with iTest.
- If you plan to use IxLoad or IxNetwork with iTest, see the version compatibility matrix in the iTest Installation Guide.
