15865 -- itestcli cannot start Telnet session to Windows

Upon starting a Telnet session, receive the following error:

"Session "client1" is not open and therefore action "command" is not allowed, Session: client1, Source: step executor"

Two workaround options:

  • Change the Windows Telnet server to stream mode. It has to be in stream mode to begin with for iTest to work with it.
    or
  • Change the session properties for terminal size to fixed: 80x24. This way, the Windows server will not close the connection due to larger terminal size.
