Initially, Web sessions on Internet Explorer do not work on 64-bit Windows systems. The iTest installer causes Web session profiles to point to the wrong default location for the browser executable.

Workaround: In the session profile, modify the two 'Browser path' settings to point to the correct path for the IE browser executable.

  1. On the Start page of the Session Profile editor, click More.
  2. In the tree, select Capture > Browser.
  3. Set theBrowser path property to C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (or to the path in which you installed iexplore.exe)
  4. Repeat the process for Replay > Browser.
