By default, each step that executes in a test is added to the test report. You have the option to specify that a particular step should not appear in test reports (the step executes normally, it simply is not reported).
Override option for this feature
When needed, you can use a preference setting to specify that all steps should appear in test reports, regardless of the settings for the individual steps. (Click Window > Preferences. In the Fanfare > General > Execution page, check Include all steps in test reports (ignore the setting for the step).
iTestRT supports the override option with the --reportallsteps boolean argument.
itestcli supports the override option with the ra and -reportAllSteps boolean arguments.
